District Statistics Office, Narail is a government service provider. It is a field office of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) under the Department of Statistics and Informatics Division (SID) of the Ministry of Planning, headed by a Deputy Director. The activities of District Statistics Office, Narail started from the year 2013.  Apart from population census, economic census and agricultural census at the district level, this office is entrusted with the responsibility of supervising the administrative activities of the upazila statistical offices, including conducting various surveys and census activities on an ad hoc basis.
